Install on WordPress

The Arqam360 WordPress plugin is the recommended path: activate it, paste your two credentials, and the banner loads in the <head> before your tracking scripts run. You can also inject the embed code into your theme header by hand.

1

Install the plugin

In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New and search for Arqam360. Install and activate. It is on the official wordpress.org directory, so there is no zip to upload.

2

Copy both credentials

Open API Keys in your Arqam360 dashboard. You need two: the Widget Key (public, starts ciq_live_) and the Site Token (secret, starts ciq_sk_ and is shown only once, when you create it).

3

Paste them into the plugin

In wp-admin open Arqam360 → Settings. The Widget Key runs the consent banner; the Site Token opens your Arqam360 dashboard inside wp-admin. Save.

4

Verify on your live site

Visit your site in an incognito window. The banner should appear on first paint, before any tracking fires.

<!-- Add this to your WordPress header.php or header injection plugin -->

WordPress header injection
Adding the Arqam360 script to a WordPress header.
If you're using a caching plugin (WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache, etc.), clear your cache after adding the script. Otherwise, the banner might not appear immediately.
We recommend using a header injection plugin like 'Insert Headers and Footers' by WPCode — it's safer than editing theme files directly and persists through theme updates.
