Configure Routing Rules
Routing rules give you fine-grained control over how consent events and data flow to your connected integrations. Rules are evaluated in priority order and determine whether events are forwarded, blocked, or transformed.
What Are Routing Rules?
Routing rules are conditional logic that evaluates each consent event and decides where it should be sent. Without rules, all events are forwarded to all connected integrations. Rules let you be selective.
Rule Conditions
- Jurisdiction — Match visitors from specific regions (EU, Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc.)
- Consent State — Match specific consent choices (analytics granted, marketing denied)
- GPC — Match visitors with Global Privacy Control enabled
- Domain — Match events from specific domains
Rule Actions
- Forward to specific platforms — Send only to selected integrations
- Block — Prevent forwarding to specific platforms
- Transform — Modify event data before forwarding (e.g., strip PII)
