Getting Started with Audiences

Last updated: March 18, 20265 min readBeginnerBrand

Audiences is Arqam360's audience activation layer. It builds on server-side event data to create audience segments and sync them to your ad platforms.

What is Audiences?

Audience activation takes the events and identity data from server-side events and lets you build audience segments, sync them to ad platforms such as Meta Custom Audiences, and trigger automated flows.

Key Features

  • Audience Segments — Build dynamic segments based on events and user properties
  • Audience Sync — Push segment membership to ad platforms automatically
  • Triggered Flows — Automate actions when specific events occur
  • Consent-Aware — Only activates data for users who've given consent

1

Set up server-side events first

Audiences requires server-side event data. Install and configure the events SDK.

2

Create your first segment

Go to Audiences → Segments and define an audience based on events or properties.

3

Connect an ad platform

Set up an integration to sync your segment to (Meta, GA4, etc.).

4

Enable sync

Toggle audience sync for your segment.

Audiences is only available if you have server-side events set up and events flowing. The richer your event data, the more powerful your segments.
